Love my Sansha Jazz Boots!!!03/10/2024 Englewood,FL
AMAZING FIT AND FEEL
I ordered a pair of Theatricals and Sansha jazz boots because my Bloch jazz shoes feel too thin when I dance with them. I love the way these shoes shaped to my feet after a few classes. The theatricals boots were more baggy than these so I like the Sanshas much better. The heel feels more sturdy on these jazz boots compared to my jazz shoes and my feet feel better dancing in the boots. They also still offer a beautiful look while pointing your foot. Love these shoes!

GREAT PURCHASE FOR DANCERS OR TEACHERS
I have a pair of these in black and now red. I went by the sizing chart and was happy with the size I ordered. I wear a size 7 street shoe but ordered the jazz boot in an 8.

FALL APART VERY QUICKLY
I used these shoes for a performance recently and had a not very positive experience! Very comfortable and look nice at the beginning, but fall apart very quickly! After two days of outside rehersal everyone in our performance who had these shoes was dancing practically barefoot. The bottom sole rips and tears quickly. If you are required to have these I would definitely recommend having a second pair for back up!!

ORDER AT LEAST TWO SIZES LARGER THAN YOUR STREET SIZE
The canvas material seems comfortable except the shoe is too small. I wear a 10M and need to order 12.5. The 12 is kind of big enough but not that comfortable. Since it is a lace up, I would rather not have pressure on my big toe.

These shoes look really nice for marching band auxiliary teams. I am not sure how long they will last but that is okay because they are very inexpensive. When ordering, I would suggest ordering up two sizes for ladies.

This jazz boot is the 'BOMB'. It fits like a glove which makes it easy to maneuver while dancing. The canvas is durable and the cut and style works especially this a narrow foot, but go up a size for a more comfortable fit. I do suggest if you have a wider foot you go up a couple of sizes, i.e., if you wear a 10 you probably want to order a 12 cause the boot has a very slim cut. I really like the long laces cause I can wrap them around my ankles.

COMFORTABLE AND PERFECT FOR WHAT I DO
I use this boot at a renaissance faire, outdoors in south eastern Massachusetts in the Fall, and it perfectly completes my gypsy character. These boots last me two seasons before they start breaking down! I use an excellent quality insole which makes them even more comfortable for an outdoor venue. I've had many compliments on them and their durability, considering what I do, and have been asked where I purchase them. I also purchase a size larger to accommodate socks for colder weather. Not your conventional use for canvas jazz boots, I admit; but they're fantastic and I wouldn't use any other. Thank you for a great item!

NT DURABLE
Bought these shoes for a musical. We were rehearsing six days a week, at least six hours daily. These shoes are comfortable, no doubt, and I love moving in them. However, I was pretty disappointed at the durability of them. In less than a week, there were holes on both my big toes, due to all the friction with the floor. The thread on the soles started coming off too and I have to glue them back on. If you are planning to do a lot of dancing, I'd reckon you should get the leather ones instead.

SLIPPERY, COMFORTABLE, DURABLE
I got these for a routine that I will be preforming in a month. I practice on a very sticky floor, and when I went to rehearsal I felt like I was ice skating. It is very comfortable. I had to go 1 size up. It has not completely fallen apart yet, like my last pair did

GOOD VERSATILE BOOT
I order these frequently for entire casts - they are great for about 20-30 performances (with heavy use), but will wear holes eventually. Leather is definitely more durable. I have also found that our men prefer ordering 4-5 sizes up from their regular shoe size: a US men's 10 will be a 15, 9 a 14, etc. This is consistent across the company, so other men may want to do the same.

GREAT LOW PRICE SHOE
I am on my second pair. The stage I use them on is REALLY rough on shoes. They are great for Musical Theatre. They hold up really well and they are a great boot! They are a bit difficult to point in, but since it's a boot, it is to be expected. Once you break them in it's no problem!

I DISAGREE...
I wore these shoes for a production of Fiddler on the Roof and they were FALLING APART by the 10th performance. VERY low quality, no support, and difficult to point in. I have a very high, well-formed arch and it looked HORRENDOUS in these shoes. I was very disappointed and threw them away immediately after the last show -- the stitching had come undone and there was a hole in the toe.

Sansha is really great with their shoe conversion charts. Rarely ever do I find that the conversion is incorrect. I do not order the flesh tone, so cannot answer that question. They do run a bit small, but also stretch a bit (as much as canvas can) with wear. I've never been dissatisfied ordering one size larger than my regular street shoe size, but keep in mind that I also work an outdoor venue with these boots in Massachusetts and wear socks with them in colder weather.
